Description: With the support of the British Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Chamber implemented the project with the aim of:
- updating data on business entities in which women are owners or co-owners, chief managers (i.e., directors or deputy directors), or heads of main organizational units; and
- fostering cooperation, networking, joint market participation, strengthening competitiveness, and improving the business performance of these enterprises.
Following the conducted research and consolidation of existing data, a survey questionnaire was developed and the surveying of women entrepreneurs was initiated. After the research and fieldwork were completed, the collected data were analyzed, an online database was created, and the results were presented at a final conference.
The project results also served as the basis for the preparation of the Work Program of the Council for Women’s Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Banja Luka Region.
