Description: The KOOPLokal project was implemented to enhance management capacities for local economic development in the municipalities of Prnjavor, Srbac, and Laktaši. This was achieved through the development and implementation of local economic development instruments, and by supporting public-private dialogue and inter-municipal cooperation.
Results:
- A service package of the Chamber, “Services to Support Local Self-Governments in Attracting Investments”, was created as a tool to improve the image of local communities and attract investments.
- Nine publications were developed to promote local economic capacities, investment locations, and opportunities for business cooperation.
- Three training seminars were held for municipal employees on providing services according to SME needs, enhancing their capacity to better understand and respond to the dynamics and challenges of the private sector.
- A study visit to Germany with 12 participants was conducted to transfer good practices in local economic development and develop inter-municipal cooperation at the international level.
