Every year, the second day, second week, second month is marked as International Safe Internet Day. On that day, we will point out the dangers lurking in the domain of corporate business over the Internet, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska.
On Tuesday, 07.02.2023. at 12 o’clock in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Banja Luka Region, Branka Ćopića 6, we are organizing a workshop on the topic: “Safe Internet Days and Corporate Security”. The aim of the workshop is to inform and raise the awareness of representatives of small and medium-sized companies in the Republic of Srpska about the forms of crime in the field of digital business, and the possibilities of joint action in order to prevent and reduce damage in cases of high-tech crime.
The reason why this year the emphasis is on the protection of companies in the Republic of Srpska is the fact that in the structure of persons injured by high-tech criminal acts, small and medium-sized companies that do business with foreign countries are among the most vulnerable. Also, it was observed that such business entities are not sufficiently informed, that they need better protection, and that at the same time the damages caused by high-tech criminal acts are multi-millions, and that, in addition to financial damage, they include the loss of information and other values.
The lecturers will be representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska and the Center for Digital Transformation of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, who, through presentations and interaction with the participants, will present contemporary threats and risks in digital business, and give specific advice and recommendations for the purpose of protection and timely reaction in in order to reduce damage.
Participation in the workshop is free.
