Within the Erasmus+ educational programs in 2024, the Skill2Sustain project – Enhancing Digital and Green Skills for a Resilient and Sustainable Western Balkans Society is currently being implemented. The project aims to adopt a holistic approach to digitalization and the green transition, while its specific objectives align with the EU Green Deal, the Digital Education Action Plan 2021–2027, and the Council Recommendation on Learning for the Green Transition and Sustainable Development.
The project supports higher education systems in creating green and digital societal ecosystems and will last 36 months, with the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad serving as the main lead organization.
As part of its activities, the project will:
- Define directions for improving digital and green education within the academic community;
- Identify the needs of participants and key stakeholders in the field of green and digital skills;
- Enhance the capacity of partners, both in activities directly related to the project and in project management skills more broadly.
The project also plans an extensive promotional campaign to highlight newly developed and innovated study programs, courses, and project events.
